This rocking unicorn is great for encouraging free, imaginative play which is the superfood of the balanced play diet. Some of the children rocked their dolls on it and sang different songs – toys like this that encourage storytelling and the acting out of different scenarios help little ones start to make sense of the world around them.
We also found the ride on helped to develop balance and stability, which is important at this age as children strengthen and develop the big muscles in their arms and legs. Some of our younger testers found it a little difficult to get on and off the unicorn but once on, they loved rocking back and forth. We noticed it to be very sturdy, especially when our more exuberant testers were rocking very fast on it!
