What our experts think
Paddington and Bessie the Campervan are ready for an adventure. This set features Bessie the campervan with her 5 sounds made by pressing the grill on the front. She toots, and vrooms and you can even hear Paddington’s familiar voice wondering what adventures he will have today. Also included are Paddington himself, a picnic hamper with blanket, cup of tea and of course …a marmalade sandwich. Our young testers loved making up stories for Paddington and Bessie and setting up the picnic for them. They even included characters from other collections into their games. It is a great feature that the roof is completely removable as this allows young fingers to easily get Paddington in and out. The pieces are also a lovely chunky size for small hands.
The Paddington Campervan is fantastic for encouraging imaginative play as children create their own adventures. It helps build vocabulary and language skills as they give the characters voices and discuss roles with their friends. It also develops children’s early story telling skills.
