Description
From Bananagrams – the anagram game that drives you bananas! – comes My First Bananagrams, designed to help ripen your little learner’s vocabulary.
The banana-shaped bag is filled with colourful lower-case letters and unique double-letter tiles, designed to make it easier for mini-wordsmiths. Players race against each other to build crossword grids and use all their letter tiles. There’s no turn-taking to be found here – it all happens at once and it’s a race to the finish.
A collection of fun games is included with ten curriculum-based games to help improve vocabulary.

What our expert think
We’re big fans of the Bananagrams word game and couldn’t wait to give this junior version a try! It was just as popular as the original but the new tiles were more appealing to our younger testers. The racing-style really adds to the excitement of the game!
This set is also more tailored towards teaching English skills – the vowels are all the same colour and the letter pairs encourage children to practise common graphemes. There are also a variety of activities to keep the game exciting and build vocabulary. Great for active learning!
Playing with others also helps children develop their social skills and experience a little friendly competition.
