What our experts think
Our testers were delighted by the Curious Kingdom. They enjoyed being part of assembling their castle, characters, and accessories with their family. Non-readers and early readers loved hearing/reading the descriptions of the primary characters provided on the boards. From there, they repeatedly played with the set, creating their own storylines, character voices and traits, scene layouts, and more. When introduced to the “magic” of making the characters “come to life”, they loved using the accompanying App. It added a new dimension to their play. It allowed them to animate the characters and accessories through the augmented reality application and to hear stories. Playing with the Curious Kingdom fosters creativity and storytelling, imaginative play, as well as fine motor skills.
