The children enjoyed setting up the pen and putting the pigs in and out – the set provoked lots of discussion which is useful for building farm-related vocabulary and developing children’s knowledge and understanding of farming communities. Our testers returned to play with this set many times, setting up different farming scenes (they played with it alongside other farming toys that they had) and they even got real grass and twigs to feed to the pigs!
