The Bosch Tool Truck Set and Screwdriver makes a great addition to imaginative play, allowing children to engage in construction based role play and use their logical thinking skills to ‘fix’ things. It is fantastic to see the tools power up and work much like real ones, encouraging an interest in STEM subjects such as engineering and mechanics. As children follow instructions, screw and hammer in nails and assemble the truck, they are challenging their dexterity and developing important skills in problem-solving and perseverance too.
In addition to the working tools, children enjoyed pushing the truck around the floor and making sound effects (e.g. beeping as they reversed). Replicating these real life scenarios in their role-play helps children to make sense of the world around them. Creating storylines with their peers is also a great way to encourage important social and emotional skills such as collaboration and sharing.
